Hop on your bike and explore the endless cycle paths through forests, heathland and along the Regge - or grab a canoe and experience the river from the water. We offer both bikes and canoes for hire, so you can explore the area at your own pace.
Canoe rental
Cruise the meandering Regge
From De Reggestee, you step straight into the canoe - directly from our own jetty. Paddling along the beautiful, meandering Regge, you will sail towards Archem, where a small beach is the perfect place for a rest. If you want to go further, you can sail on to the cosy centre of Ommen.
Along the way, you will enjoy the pristine nature along the banks. With a bit of luck, you may spot a kingfisher skimming low over the water, or a heron waiting patiently at the water's edge. The Regge meanders through meadows and forests - a route that gives you the feeling of being away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Own jetty
You board the canoe directly at De Reggestee - no transport needed.
Direction Ommen
Pedddel via Archem to Ommen, with a small beach to pause on the way.
Experience nature
Spot kingfishers, herons and enjoy the pristine nature along the banks of the Regge.
Tip: Bring a delicious lunch on the canoe and enjoy a picnic along the banks of the Regge. Afterwards, De Reggestee's terrace awaits!

Around De Reggestee is a beautiful cycling area with endless cycle paths through the most beautiful nature of the Vecht valley. Whether you want a quiet ride along Regge or a longer route through the woods and across the moors - the area offers something for everyone.
We rent out both ordinary bicycles as e-bikes, so you can explore the area at your own pace. With an e-bike, you can cover longer distances effortlessly and discover the wider surroundings, from picturesque Ommen to the vast estates and forests of Salland.
